We are thrilled to kick off our journey towards the 2024 Oahu Pentathlon with a significant announcement - our first athlete has been confirmed, and we couldn't be more proud to introduce him to you. Join us in welcoming Jordan Schick to our local team of athletes!

Meet Jordan Schick

Born on the island of Kauaʻi and raised on the island of Oʻahu, Jordan's journey towards becoming a part of our team is nothing short of inspiring.

Jordan's educational journey has been one marked by dedication and a profound desire to serve his community. After graduating from Kailua High School, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Life Pacific College. From there, Jordan's thirst for knowledge and his commitment to making a difference in people's lives led him to pursue a career in nursing.

Driven by a deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of nursing, Jordan obtained his first nursing degree from the University of Hawaii system. A few years later, Jordan earned his Master’s in Nursing Science from Western Governors University, showcasing his unwavering dedication to honing his skills and expertise in the field.

Currently enrolled in a Nurse Practitioner Program, Jordan's aspirations extend far beyond academic accolades. His ultimate goal is to pursue a Doctorate, a testament to his commitment to continuous learning and growth. When asked about his motivation behind pursuing this degree, Jordan's answer was simple yet profound - a burning desire to serve his community in Hawaiʻi to the best of his abilities.

"I believe that nurses and nurse practitioners have the greatest potential to bring positive changes to people's lives," Jordan shared.
